<p>Basically, the price on this house was lowered all the way down to $388k at one point, and in April the seller decided to jack the price up $460k.  I guess they really believe that the bottom has been reached.  In actuality this home is listing for twice the price per squarefoot as other EPA homes.  All I can say is good luck.</p>

<p>This house is currently owned by Countrywide/Bank of America and the last sale was a foreclosure auction.  It is in a good area and the size is decent, but the house is pretty old and it has the old style electric heaters.  It&#8217;s interesting to see that some of the past owners of this home had 100% financing as early as 2002 when the home sold for $530,000.  Now I guess they realized that all that money didn&#8217;t really exist to begin with.    The price has been dropped about $50k since its listing in the end of October.</p>

This is actually a pretty nice home on San Carlos hills.  It has a very nice sized lot and the price per square foot is very good for San Carlos.   It&#8217;s already had a $46k price drop, and the winter season should be very slow.  I really think this home is a better value than those &#8220;Valu Alto&#8221; new homes if you have the dough.</p>
