The other two properties you are comparing it to may be less than a half mile away, but it's really a world away. I have toured this house twice and IMO it is a beautiful house in a historic neighborhood close to downtown San Mateo, Draeger's (fancy supermarket), shops & restaurants, and beautiful Central Park. You walk 5 blocks east closer to the 101 (where the other two houses are) and it's totally different, the houses are smaller, more cheaply constructed, and you feel a little bit like you are in the barrio.
