Comments: This is a gorgeous house that I can’t afford. It sure is pretty, though, and it has been on the market for over one year so I am sure the cost to sell it is much much higher than 1000 dollars. I wonder what is wrong with it?

    It is indeed a gorgeous home, and my husband and I were thinking of buying it. We went and took a look and here are the top reasons we did not buy it:

    x) No yard
    x) Awkward layout: Great for entertaining (wet bar in living room), but not ideal for a “regular” family, laundry room in garage (LOTS of steep stairs down from the living quarters, master bedroom)
    x) No place for children and animals (dangers everywhere)
    x) Location: It is almost in Millbrae (sun-fog border)
    x) Interior design does not fit the outside decor, amnbience of the house
    x) Asking price is too much, I think they should go with 1.75

    I forgot another awkward thing about it: In a house this big, you would expect some privacy for the master suite. However, the master br and another bath were right next to another bath and room. This destroyed the suite. Really weird layout, the rooms are not quite usable, and the entertainment space is way too big of a portion of the house.
